NCNW Queens Chapter Recognition: Protect Your Temple: A Day of Health & Wellness, Starting from theCradle

August 29, 2022

Dear Ms. Charline Ogbeni:

The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW) Queens County Section and New York State

Senator Leroy Comrie would like to thank Supporting Our Mothers Initiative LLC for your participation

during our Summer 2022 event 'Protect Your Temple: A Day of Health & Wellness, Starting from the

Cradle' held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at St. Albans Park.

We greatly appreciate your provision of breastfeeding information and engagement of community

members! The event was indeed a success, and we received such positive feedback from those in

attendance. 85 community members signed in for the event (and we know there were even more who

attended.)

You are a valued community partner, and we look forward to continuing our collaborative relationship

with you to address health and racial disparities existing in communities of color, particularly in Southeast

Queens!

Best,

Valerie Hall, President

Pamela Davis, Chairperson, Maternal/Child Health Subcommittee

Stanlee Richards, Health Committee Chairperson
