The Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in Minnesota with a mission to build community, inspire readers, and expand book access all over the world.  Individuals participate freely in this program by visiting their community little library and selecting a book to read.  Books are exchanged on a daily basis and encouraged to be exchanged for a new book after reading.
